Cookie Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2026. Last revised: March 2026.
This Cookie Policy describes how Showmeadowlistlm Media Ltd. ("Showmeadowlistlm", "we", "us") utilizes cookies, local browser storage mechanisms, and related tracking technologies on showmeadowlistlm.com. We believe in strict privacy-by-design and transparent data storage practices.
1. What Are Cookies and Web Storage?
Cookies are small textual data packets placed onto your computing device by web servers when you load website pages. Similarly, modern browsers support HTML5 localStorage, which stores state keys directly on your device without sending extraneous header packets on every subsequent HTTP asset request.
2. Categories of Storage Employed on Showmeadowlistlm.com
We classify the digital storage mechanisms operating on this website into three distinct functional tiers:
- Essential / Strictly Necessary: Required for the fundamental technical delivery and security of the website. These cannot be disabled as the site cannot function securely without them.
- Functional Preferences: Store your interface states, such as recording your cookie consent decision so the bottom consent banner does not reappear on every page reload.
- Performance & Analytics: Anonymized metrics utilized to quantify page response times and track traffic flow across camera comparison guides without identifying individual visitors.
3. Technical Table of Storage Keys
| Identifier / Name | Type | Category | Lifespan | Purpose & Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
showmeadowlistlm_cookie_choice |
HTML5 LocalStorage | Functional | Persistent (1 Year) | Stores user consent decision (accept, reject, or preferences) to prevent banner redisplay. |
__cf_bm / _cfuvid |
HTTP Cookie | Essential Security | 30 Minutes / Session | Deployed by edge security infrastructure to distinguish human visitors from automated bot traffic. |
sml_pref_zoom_mode |
HTML5 SessionStorage | Functional | Current Session | Maintains optical zoom slider focal length state during single-tab browsing. |
_sml_anon_perf |
HTTP Cookie | Analytics | 90 Days | Aggregated, non-PII latency telemetry measuring mobile page render speed across global regions. |
4. How to Control & Opt-Out via Your Browser
In addition to our bottom consent banner, you retain total control over cookie placement directly through your web browser configuration settings. You can delete existing cookies, block specific third-party domains, or refuse all cookies universally:
- Google Chrome: Navigate to Settings > Privacy and Security > Third-party cookies to configure blocking parameters or clear site storage.
- Mozilla Firefox: Navigate to Settings > Privacy & Security > Enhanced Tracking Protection to block tracking cookies or view stored local data.
- Apple Safari: Navigate to Preferences > Privacy > Prevent Cross-Site Tracking and select Manage Website Data to purge stored records.
- Microsoft Edge: Navigate to Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data.
Please note that completely blocking essential storage keys may impair certain interactive comparison features, such as preserving slider positions or remembering your banner dismissal preferences.
5. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy periodically to reflect technological adjustments in our mobile camera comparison engines or evolving statutory requirements. Any revisions will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
